Litemesh
As many organisations, companies and facilities are working towards the new target of Net Zero 2030, wireless monitoring of a building’s emergency lighting status is paramount on many agendas. This is a significant first step in the reduction of a building’s CO2 impact, whilst maintaining compliance.
Simple to navigate pages that highlight maintenance issues, asset part numbers and location of problems easily.
A robust mesh
system
LiteMesh is Liteplan’s robust, scale able and secure wireless emergency lighting platform. Providing the ultimate in compliance with a simple installation and commissioning process.
Operates away from crowded Bluetooth signals that have the potential for cross platform security issues.
A robust mesh system reporting the status of your building’s emergency lighting, with data being gathered every ten minutes. Commands are processed using industry standard DALI (digital addressable lighting interface) protocols enabling multi-manufacturer compatibility.
LiteMesh is offered in two formats. LiteMesh-Cloud, where the buildings data can be viewed from any location via a secure, two part authenticated platform, or LiteMesh-Local, where data is contained within the site and displayed via a graphical user interface. Both versions display failures in a simple, floorplan format enabling the user to locate the fault with ease, minimising facilities management time.
Litemesh Cloud
The cloud platform is used to store compliance data and report on the status of your building’s emergency lighting. This therefore provides peace of mind that your emergency lighting is always fully functional. Any failures are immediately reported to the platform advising the exact location of any issue in a graphical floorplan format and what parts will be required to cure the fault. This allows for a fix first time maintenance visit. Multiple sites can be linked together in one singe system, simplifying the management of multi-store retail, or large estates.
- Simple, installer led commissioning
- Robust and Secure mesh network
- Secure browser based user interface for Cloud version
- Long range mesh particularly suitable for emergency lighting
- Operates away from crowded Bluetooth signals
- Security conscious proprietary mesh, Non-Bluetooth
- System held compliance reports
- Test scheduling and grouping of fittings
Litemesh Local
The local user interface touchscreen, displays faults in an ergonomic graphical format, guiding the user directly to any issues that require attention. Following function or duration tests, compliance reports are held at the system and can be downloaded when required. LiteMesh-Local operates with DALI emergency control gear which the system programs to carry out functions test once a month and a three-hour duration test once a year, in keeping with the requirements of the building and its operatives. This adheres to the testing requirements of BS (EN) 50172:2004 and as referenced in the UK Emergency Lighting Code of Practice BS 5266-1:2016. Rather than using DALI bus cables, we employ a robust and secure 868MHz mesh network as the vehicle for the data.
The schedule and timing of the function and duration tests can be programmed in keeping with the requirements of the building and its occupants. The system not only accurately reports on failures for a fix first time scenario, but can help large estates schedule maintenance more efficiently.
Testing can be set into unlimited groups, so that no two adjacent fittings are set to test at the same time. This allows for maximum coverage whilst emergency lighting batteries are recharging following duration tests.
Historic compliance reports are held at the system for accountability and can be downloaded at anytime.

LiteWork Commissioning Tool
The LiteWork Commissioning Tool is a rugged tablet designed with the demands of site conditions in mind. It has the ability to communicate with individual emergency luminaires on the LiteMesh network.
Each emergency fitting is signal strength located as the operator navigates the area and subsequently plotted directly onto the floorplan of the building. Once this simple process has been completed, the information is uploaded to either the LiteMesh-Cloud platform, or the LiteMesh-Local user interface.
